VISION

By 2008, QIC will be a well resourced leader in quality improvement programs and accreditation for primary health care and community services, recognised for its consumer focus and emphasis on quality improvement.


PURPOSE

 

To promote continuous quality improvement in health and community services through the provision of standards, accreditation programs, and developmental resources, and undertaking projects, for the benefit of service users, service staff and the wider community.

 

 

GOALS

 

1.   Grow QIC's business

2.   Build and maintain effective relationships with governments and other key stakeholders

3.   Develop and maintain strong customer focus

4.   Consolidate capacity and increase public accountability of QIC

5.   Build clinical excellence as a major component of the QIC program

6.   Promote QIC, primary health care and community services values

7.   Position QIC as a leader in quality improvement.
